The Nursing Station Building Committee is pleased to announce that the move was completed on November 11 with the help of local citizens, Britt Lions, Britt Fire Department, Wright’s Marina employees and even a visitor from Espanola. With some final touches to be done to the interior, the doors opened for the first patient visit on Now. 21st.
It h…as been more nearly five years since the campaign to build the new facility began with a $10,000 donation by the late George Wright, one of the original Nursing Services Board members in 1974.
More than $600,000 has been raised to fund the construction from various sources, including more than $300,000 from donations.

Just a reminder that the BIG Britt Walk 3rd Annual BIG Britt Walk in support of the Britt Area Nursing Station takes place this Saturday, August 27, 2011.
